When and where does the ATCA Tech Symposium take place?

Are there any virtual options for attending the ATCA Tech Symposium?
No, The ATCA Tech Symposium is a Live, in-person event only.
When will registration open for the 2023 Tech Symposium?
Registration will open February 2023.
Will the Tech Symposium have a hotel with a special group rate?

Yes.  ATLANTIC CITY RESORTS CASINO BOARDWALK HOTEL is the headquarters hotel for the Tech Symposium. The hotel group rate is $ 92.00 per room/per night or Atlantic City’s current Federal Government Per Diem, whichever is greater.

What does it cost to attend the ATCA Tech Symposium, and what does it include?
There are various registration options to suit your needs. For a full listing of pricing options, visit the Tech Symposium Registration page.
What is the cost to attend for the FAA, USA Government or Military?
Please visit our ATCA Tech Symposium  Registration Site for details. NOTE: To qualify for complimentary registration, you must be a government employee (not a contractor employed by the government) and have a .gov or .mil email extension. 

What are the Registration Hours?

You must register via the online form before arriving at Resorts Casino Hotel.  Registration for the Conference and Expo website is available 24/7.

To pick up your registration badge onsite hours are listed below: 
  • Tuesday, April 25 - 7:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. 
  • Wednesday, April 26 - 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 27 - 7:30 a.m. - Noon

*All Times are subject to charge. Check the Program Agenda to confirm times.

Am I required to be an ATCA member to attend the Conference, Expo, or any special events?

You do not have to be an ATCA Member to participate. Registration is open to anyone wishing to attend. If you are not an ATCA member, choose the appropriate non-member category when registering.

ATCA Members receive benefits, including reduced rates, for all ATCA Events. Consider becoming an ATCA Member to take advantage of the Member discounts.  Visit the ATCA Membership portal.

Will there be a Tech Center Tuesday at the Tech Symposium this year?

Yes. The FAA's Tech Center Tuesday at the William J. Hughes Technical Center is an important part of the ATCA Tech Symposium. ATCA is working with FAA officials in developing interactive events, presentations, and tours for the Tuesday event.  Please check registration for options. 

NOTE: You must have an official U.S. government ID to participate in any events at the William J. Hughes Technical Center.

Is there an Expo at the April ATCA Tech Symposium?
Yes, there is an Expo at the April ATCA Tech Symposium.  View the Exhibitor Information page for details.
 
Can I substitute my attendance for someone else’s?
Yes. Substitutions may be made, but new individuals must provide their own e-mail address, phone number, and mailing address to Registration. As well, should you have a member registration and it is transferred to someone who is not a member, additional costs to cover the difference in registration fees may apply.  Please contact Sandra Strickland at sandra.strickland@atca.org or 703-299-2430, ext. 304.

What happens if I need to cancel my registration?

Cancellations made thru March 31, 2023, will be refunded less a 25% cancellation fee. Unfortunately, NO refunds will be made for cancellations received AFTER March 31, 2023. Cancellations must be made in writing to Sandra.strickland@atca.org.  Substitutions of equal ATCA memberships may be made at any time for conference registrations.  All refunds will be processed after the event. Government participants with duty-related cancellations are exempt and will not be charged a cancellation fee.
When does online registration close?

Online registration opens in mid-February.  It will remain open 24/7 before and during the ATCA Tech Symposium. Rates for the conference program gradually increase as we get closer to the event. The earlier you register, the lower the cost! Register now!
